Recommended Usage	Reconstitute lyophilized biotinylated lectins by adding 0.5 ml water. The resulting solution will be: 10 mM HEPES, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.1 mM CaCl2, 0.08% sodium azide, pH 7.5.

This lectin screening kit is designed to provide the investigator with a panel of seven biotinylated lectin conjugates. The lectins have been selected to offer a variety of sugar specificities and are of the same high quality as the reagents offered individually.

Kit III consists of 0.5 mg of the following biotinylated lectins:

DSL (Datura Stramonium lectin)
ECL (Erythrina cristagalli lectin)
GSL II (Griffonia (Bandeiraea) simplicifolia lectin II)
Jacalin
LEL (Lycopersicon esculentum (tomato) lectin)

Our lectin screening kits are designed to provide the investigator with a panel of seven lectins or lectin conjugates. The lectins have been selected to offer a variety of sugar specificities and are of the same high quality as the reagents offered individually.

Each Kit III (BK-3000, FLK-4100) consists of 0.5 mg of the following lectin conjugates: DSL, ECL, GSL II, Jacalin, LEL, STL, VVL.

These biotinylated conjugates are prepared from our affinity-purified lectins and are optimally labeled with biotin. Essentially free of inactive lectin conjugates and containing no free biotin, these biotinylated lectins provide ideal intermediates for examining glycoconjugates using the Biotin-Avidin/Streptavidin System. First a biotin-labeled lectin is added, followed by the VECTASTAIN ABC Reagent, Avidin D conjugate, or streptavidin derivative.
